Where We Are
Cameron is the southernmost tip of Texas and is surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico on the east side, Mexico in the south,
Hidalgo County in the west and
Willacy County in the north. The southernmost part of the
barrier island, Padre and the northernmost part of Brazos Island are also in the jurisdiction of Cameron County.
As with most of the Gulf Coast counties, there are numerous other small islands in both South Bay and Red Fish Bay.
