Collingsworth is part of the Texas panhandle and the county seat is Wellington, where the bulk of the population lives. Our neighboring counties, beginning in the north and going clockwise, are Wheeler in the north, Beckham, OKand Harmon, OK in the east, Childress and Hall in the south, Donley and Gray in the west.Greer, OK, (was once part of Texas, is between Beckham and Harmon and is quite close to Collingsworth).
