Where We Are
Culberson County is in far west Texas and, although it doesn't share a border with Mexico, it's southwestern corner is less than 5 miles from the Rio Grande. The county seat and largest town is Van Horn in the southwest at the intersection of I-10 and US90. In the north, we're bordered by the New Mexico counties of Otero and Eddy. Loving and Reeves counties are to the east and Jeff Davis County is in the south. Presidio County is also in the south, less than 5 miles from our southwestern corner and Hudspeth County is our western neighbor.
