CANTU,  CLAU DISRO

 

THE Victoria Advocate - Claudio Cantu Sr., 80, of Three Rivers, died Friday, March 24, 2006.  He was born Dec. 31, 1925, in Goliad, to the late Pedro and Marcella Perez Cantu. He was a farmer/rancher and a member of Centro De Oracion.  Survivors: wife, Manuelita Cantu; daughters, Rosalinda DeLuna and Mary Helen Rodriguez, both of Three Rivers; sons, Lee Roy Cantu of Victoria, Claudio Cantu Jr. of Three Rivers, and Joe L. Cantu of Corpus Christi; sister, Lorenza Garcia of St. Paul; brother, Jose Maria Cantu of Berclair; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by: brothers, Vidal Cantu and Reyes Cantu.  Services will be 2 p.m. today at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home, the Rev. Lee Roy Cantu officating.  Burial will follow at Three Rivers Cemetery.
