MILLER,  MRS. ELIZABETH "BETTIE" 

 

The Victoria Advocate OBIT: Mrs. Elizabeth "Bettie" Miller, 88, a local nursing home resident, died Thursday 3 Jan 1985 at a Victoria Hospital following a long illness. A former resident of Goliad, she had lived in Victoria for two years. She was born August 12, 1896, in Ander, and was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Memorial Part Cemetery. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Miller. Pallbearers will be Clarence Hoff, Leonell Post, Ewald Post, Garland Hoff, Ross F. Hoff, and Wayne Jacobs. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Post, Bobby Allen Schmidt, Waylan Brannan and Ross C. Hoff.

 

MILLER,  MRS. EMILIE 

 

From The Victoria Advocate OBIT: Mrs. Emilie Miller, Goliad, 90 who died at 9:25 a.m. Sunday in a Goliad nursing home following a lengthy illness. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday at Colonial Funeral Home in Goliad. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Ander. The body will lie in state at the church from 8:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Victoria under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Goliad. Pallbearers will be Homer Albrecht, J. D. Schmidt, Clarence Hoff, Henry Jacob, Roman Bethke, Lawrence Stange and Alvin Bade. The family has requested that in lieu of the usual remembrances, contributions be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Mrs. Miller is survived by a sister, Mrs. Betty Miller. Typist notes: She was born 7 Sept 1887, Ander, Goliad Co., TX to Heinrich (Henry) Hoff, Sr. and Friedericke Hausmann. She married Fred Fritz Mueller/Miller 22 Dec. 1912. She died in 1977.

 

 MUELLER,  PHILLIPPENE D. PFENNINGER

 

From Newspaper Obit: PHILLIPPENE D. MUELLER, Goliad- Phillippene D. Mueller, 88, of Goliad died Friday, Jan. 29, 1993. She was born Jan. 12, 1905, to the late Samuel and Fredricka Urban Pfenninger. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Survivors include: husband, William Mueller of La Marque; daughter, Delores Bahr of La Marque; sister, Caroline Pieper of Kenedy; brother, Roland Pfenninger of Goliad; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services; 1 p.m. Monday at Colonial Funeral Home chapel, Goliad, the Rev. Clayton McCord officiating. Burial; Glendale Cemetary. Colonial Funeral Home, Goliad, 645-3216. Pallbearers: Wayne Bahr, Steve Bahr, Brian Bahr, Eric Mueller, Brent Reid and Eldon Pfenninger. Memorials: St. John's Lutheran Church or donor's choice.

From The Victoria Advocate, Victoria, TX Tuesday, June 3, 1997 Obituaries- William H. Mueller-Goliad- Family visitation for William Henry "Willie" Mueller, 93, of Goliad, who died Saturday, will begin at 1 p.m. today at Colonial Funeral Home chapel. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today, at the funeral home, the Rev. Tim Muehlbrad officiating. Burial will be a Glendale Cemetery in Goliad. Colonial Funeral Home, Goliad, 645-3216.
