Southern Pacific bridge over Peach Creek. Bouldin commanded him to stop and he kept coming.
It is said the negro boy was deaf. Bouldin is under $500 bond. 21 April 1917

*Prisoners - County receives a portable cage made of steel and mounted on wheels to lock up at
night the convicts that work on roads. Won't have a guard with them at night. Will hold 18 cots.

*Shooting - J.D. Parks, Constable from Cheapside, tried to arrest George Webb, negro, for
burglary. "Webb was wounded in the back of the neck when wounded in the back of the neck
when Mr. Parks pistol accidentally discharged as he went to rap the man on the head for being
unruly." Shot went through the negro's hat and struck a glancing blow to the back of his neck,
inflicting a slight wound. 24 Nov 1917
