ETTA WILLIAMS We, the Primitive Baptist Church of Mt. Zion in Nixon, Texas, bow in humble submission to the will of our heav- enly Father, who called from our midst Sister Zack Williams, who had been a faithful and devoted member since 1922. She was loved by all her Brethren and Sisters and many surrounding friends. Her presence will be sadly missed. She was born April 15, 1897 and departed this life on March 29, 1962; making her stay on earth 64 years, 11 months, and 14 days. She was born in El Campo, Texas and later moved with her parents to Oklahoma, where she was united in marriage to Zack Williams, who survives. To this union were born four children; one son, Zack Ross Williams of Woodboro, Texas; and three daughters, Helen Juanita Benson of San Diego, California, Billie Jean Klein and Elizabeth Ann Beicker of Seguin, Texas; also surviving are three sisters and three brothers, and numerous other relatives and a host of friends and neighbors. She united with the Primitive Baptist Church with her husband in 1922; she was the wife of a deacon and filled this capacity to the fullest. Funeral services were conducted by her pastor. Elder Floyd Huggins of Belton, Texas, assisted by Elder W.J. Chambers of Lampasas, Texas and Elder Richard Daniel, Jr. of Luling, Texas at the Goetz Memorial Chapel in Seguin, Texas. Be it resolved we send a copy to THE BANNER OF LOVE, one for the family, and a copy for our church record. Written by request of Mt. Zion Church, while in conference, June 03, 1962.
