R.H. KENDRICKS We, the Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church of Christ of Nixon, Texas, do humbly bow to the will of our heavenly Father, whereas. He has seen fit to call home our Brother, R.H. Kendricks. Brother Kendricks was born in Yell County, Arkansas on September 20, 1890 and passed away in Pleasanton, Texas on November 13, 1970 at the age of 80 years, 1 month and 24 days. When he was a small boy, his family moved to Ryan, Oklahoma where he remained for some time. On April 26, 1908, he was married to Martha Jane Emerson; and to this union were born seven children, six of whom are his survivors. To these loved ones we extend our deepest sympathy; may the realize that their loss is his eternal gain and say, "Thy Will be done." In 1937, Brother Kendricks moved his family to Pleasanton, Texas and in that same year, he and his wife, Martha (who preceded him in death almost eight years) joined the San Antonio Primitive Baptist Church. Then in July 1951, they came to Mt. Zion by statement and were received. Both were faithful members. On August 04, 1965, Brother Kendricks married Mrs. Elmira West Bridges of Pleasanton and lived there until his death. Be it resolved that we send a copy of this Resolution to THE PRIMITIVE BAPTIST LIGHT, a copy to the family, and a copy be entered into our church records. Written by request of Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church, Nixon, Texas. Elder W.R. Daniel, Moderator Annie Young, Cassie Ayers, Jo Nell Burrier, Committee
