DOSHIA PATTESON We, the Primitive Baptists of Mt. Zion Church, Nixon, Texas, bow in humble submission to the will of our Heavenly Father who called from our midst Sister Doshia E. Patteson ho had been a faithful and devoted member since 1910. She was loved by all her brethren and sisters of the church and by everyone that knew her. She was bom March 13, 1894 and departed this life May 29, 1965 making her stay on earth 71 years, 2 months and 16 days. Her parents were Thomas R. and Nancy A. Lewallen. She was married to J.B. (Dock) Patteson in 1921 who survives. To this union were born one son, J.B. Patteson, Jr., and one daughter, Mrs.Nancy Jo Cook, of Nixon. Also surviving are five grandchildren, two sisters, and a host of relatives, friends and neighbors. Funeral services were conducted by her pastor. Elder Floyd Huggins, assisted by Elder W.R. Daniel, Jr. We extend our deepest sympathy to the family and the loved ones. May they be able to say and realize that their loss is her eternal gain.
