- Dear new friends, I am writing to ask for your help. I have recently started reasearching my gggrandmother's family, FOX. Her name was Elizabeth Francis Fox b. 14 Feb 1832 in Early Co. GA, d. 29 Sept 1916 in TX. She married William B. FREE about 1854. But I don't know where. He was from SC. I think I may have found them later in AL. In 1860 they were in Hardin Co. TX. Elizabeth had a sister, Amanda FOX, who came to TX with them. It appears most of my families arrived in TX about the same time and in Hardin Co. Any help would be appreciated.
