- I am looking for information on the family of Millie MCBRIDE. She married William SIMMONS in Hardin Co. in 1861. Thank you.

- GOTT, Joe Dark GOTT, Doshia MEANS My mother's parents lived in Hardin County. Several of their children were born there including my mother, Ruby Josephine Gott Pettus. Mother was born in Sour Lake in 1912. I do not know if my grandparents were born in Hardin County. Joe Dark GOTT's father was Jerry Meyers GOTT from Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. His mother's maiden name was DOUCETTE. Joe is buried in a family cemetery on the Abshier farm in Liberty County, killed by the Libery county sheriff in 1923. I do not know where Doshia is buried. My mother is living in Pearland, Texas.

(3) Henry Champion COE b. 11/16/1946 Macon Co. Ala married to Mary Ann HURT b. 1842 Tennessee (4) George Milton COE b. 8/14/1882 in Longstreet, Grimes Co, TX married to Vada Viola BAY, b. 9/13/1883 in Bay's Chapel, Montgomery Co., TX. My grandfather, George Milton COE always claimed kin to the Hardin County COE's but I was never sure how. Any information on this line would be greatly appreciated.

- Looking for information on Thomas Jefferson FRANKLIN b. 1833 in AL and his wife Martha HARVELL b.abt 1830 in AL. Martha is buried in Votaw cemetery in Votaw, TX; Hardin County. There are no dates on her headstone and no apparent relatives buried near her. There children are: J. Daniel Franklin; Andrew Jackson Franklin; L. Abigail Franklin; Josephine Franklin; Martha Franklin. The family lived in the area between Votaw and Rye close to Fuqua. Would love to hear from anyone!
