Paul Frierson (October 11, 1886-May 16, 1951), born at Rockdale, Milam County Texas: died in Wichita Falls, Texas, in a hospital there: buried at Haskell, Haskell County, Texas in Willow Cemetery, beside the grave of his wife. Married April 22, 1911, at Haskell, Texas, Alice Vivian Jones (August 26, 1889-July 28, 1950), born at Terrell, Kaufman County, Texas; died at Haskell, Texas and buried there in Willow Cemetery. Her parents were James Pollard and Elzarado (Weaver) Jones. She graduated from Springtown Texas High School in 1906, and graduated from Weathford Normal, Weatherford, Texas, in 1909. She taught school in Parker County, Texas, and in the Whitman school, Haskell County, before her marriage. She was a member of the Presbyterian Women's Auxiliary, the Midway Home Demonstration Club, and the Merri Dame Club. Paul attended the Duncan school in Milam County. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, and was a farmer -stockman. Having retired from farming, the last years of his life were devoted to the development of oil in Haskell County. They were members of the First Presbyterian Church, Haskell, Texas. They lived all of their married life at Haskell. Children, five: Ethel Elzarada, Pauline Elizabeth, James Eugene, Byron Wilson, Roy Elwood.
