Boyce Hunger told us about the grave, but has no other information. An unknown grave, possibly that of a child, is located on the side of the hill and alongside the road between Walnut Canyon ranch headquarters and the Felix Murr ranch. Nothing remains except rocks covering the grave and a tumbled-down picket fence at the foot of a juniper tree. Two visible graves are located on the West Bear Creek ranch belonging to Ann Burton Patton. It is thought these unknown persons may have been traveling through the countryside on the old road to Fort McKavett. An unknown grave is located (no present evidence) near the foot of Twin Peaks off Elm Slough road. Marlow Taylor told us about seeing the grave site in the 1930's, and Marvel Skaggs Moss reported her father, Marvin Skaggs, thought a small daughter of a family traveling through the country died and was buried there many years ago. A grave on the old W. W. Wood place on Bear Creek was visible for many years, according to old-timers.
