Where We Are
Kinney County is in south Texas with its southwest quadrant bordering the Rio Grande and Mexico. The county seat and largest
community is Brackettville, almost centered within the county on Hwy 90. Our neighboring counties, starting in the north with
Edwards and continuing clockwise are
Uvalde in the east and
Zavala in the southeast.
Maverick is in the south, Mexico is southwest and
Val Verde is our neighbor to the west and northwest.
