BEHRENS FAMILY CEMETERY Sent by Reta Killingsworth
Located on the property of Kelsey Behrens, (known as Purdy Hill), approximately 3.5 miles north on RR 386, from the town of Mason, Texas.
This was the original homestead of Heinrich Conrad Behrens and his wife, Sophie Henriette Behrens Hasse nee Hauer. There are eight marked
graves and one unmarked site, all facing east. A beautiful iron fence surrounds the site inside of a chain-link fence. Red granite markers are on
the older graves with scalloped edging and an engraved letter "B" at the foot. The site is lovingly tended by the descendants.
