pounds, and has a small patch of white beard on the left jaw about the size
of a half dollar; when last heard from was in State of Alabama. Wanted
in Burnet County.

Murder; committed September 1, 1873, indicted
August 8, 1874. Edward Caven is about 24 years of age, 5 feet 11 inches
high, slender form, weights about 160 pounds, brown hair, blue eyes and regular
features, wears a brown mustache, and traves from Burnet county to the Rio
Grande, frequently in Kimble, Mason and Gillespie Counties. Wanted
in Burnet County. Ed Caven was was captured by Capt. McNelly with King
Fisher on the Rio Grande.

August 8, 1874. Wm T. Caven is about 22 years of age, near 6 feet high,
weighs 200 pounds, dark complexion, black hair, brown eyes, no beard, has
youthful but homely features; ranges through the counties of San Saba,
Mason, Gillespie, and to the Rio Grande. Wanted in Burnet County.

December 5 same year; when last heard from, about 18 months ago, he was in
Mason County. Wanted in Burnet County.

Theft of neat cattle; committed January 15, 1875;
indicted April 5, same year. Is 25 years old, 5 feet 8 inches high,
weighs 170 pounds, light complexion, light hair, grey eyes, light mustache.
Since this indictment he has murdered Rans Moore, of Kimble county,
on the head of the Llano river. $1,000 is offered by the widow. He formerly
lived in Walker County, and was in that county when last heard from. Reward
for this man offered by the Governor for the murder of Dan Huster of Mason
County. When last heard from he was living in Bexar County, west of
San Antonio. Wanted in Burnet County.
