Mary C. CRAIN was born Mary California HOLLAND, 11/27/1845-8/27/1890. She married WarnerPriest CRAIN 11/14/1860. She was the daughter of Green HOLLAND.

Minerva FRANKLIN was born Amanda Minerva HOLLAND, 6/21/1855-2/2/1930. She married Rafe Silas FRANKLIN, 11/24/1870. She was also a daughter of Green HOLLAND. Both are buried in the San Miguel Cemetery, McMullen County, TX.

Virginia Catherine (Katie) HOLLAND, 12/14/1850-5/13/1934. She first married Thomas Jefferson WEST and then Matthew Hay MARTIN. She is buried in Hilltop Cemetery in Tilden. She was also a daughter of Green HOLLAND.

These three were the 1st cousins of my Great Grand Mother, Susan Jane HOLLAND who married William EVANS. They are buried in San Geronimo Cemetery in Seguin. She was a daughter of Nelson HOLLAND.

A sister of Susan Jane HOLLAND was Louisa (Eliza) HOLLAND who first married Epaminondas CRAIN. He supposedly was the first person buried at Hilltop Cemetery in Tilden. I failed to find his grave. (Note: Epaminondas Crain was buried at Boothill Cemetery in Tilden) She later married Levi Jackson Wangruder EDWARDS and is buried in the Moore Cemetery.

I would imagine that Warner Priest CRAIN & Epaminondas CRAIN are closely related since both were in McMullen County.
