COLORADO CITY ~~ Mrs. W.W. Anderson, 82, of Colorado City died at 7:18 p.m. Saturday in Root Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Bob Ford, pastor, and the Rev. Davis Edens, former pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Colorado City Cemetery.
Born December 2, 1892, in DeQueen, Arkansas, she married W. W. Anderson December 31, 1915 in Bonham. The couple came to Mitchell County in 1925. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Wilma) Reynolds, Mrs. Geneva Killian, Mrs. Irene Ritchey, and Mrs. Era Jane Richey of Ballinger; one son, Warren Anderson of Colorado City; three sisters Mrs. Bert Sherer, Mrs. Sha Henegar, both of Bonham and Mrs. Lucille Shannon of Sherman; two brothers, Roy Blassingame of Bonham and Earl Blassingame of Dallas; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
