Douglas Major Bell
Colorado
City – Mr. Douglas Bell, age 18, of Colorado City, died Friday, March 16,
2012, as the results of an automobile accident. Service will be at 2:30 PM
Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Colorado City with
Rev. Mike Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the Colorado City
Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Douglas was born February 21, 1994 in Snyder to Donnie and Connie Upshaw
Bell and had been a lifelong resident of Colorado City. He was a member of
the First Assembly of God. He junior at Colorado High School where he was
involved in FFA, auto mechanics and was considered to be one of the nicest,
most respectful guys in the school by his peers and teachers. Douglas had a
passion for animals, especially horses. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and
racing go-karts with his family. Douglas will always be remembered by the
smile on his face and the sweetness on his heart.
Survivors include his parents, Donnie And Connie Bell of Colorado City; 2
brothers: Harley Bell and Damon Bell, both of Colorado City; paternal
grandparents, Donal and Judy Bell of Colorado City, maternal grandparents,
Jimmie and Mary Upshaw of Colorado City and maternal great grandmother, Opal
Upshaw of Colorado City. He is also survived by aunts and uncles Toby and
Diane Bell and Lee Ann and Bubba Limones of Colorado City and Billy and
Trina Upshaw Of Snyder as well as many cousins.
The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Saturday, March 17, 2012, at the
funeral home. |
