Billie Myrel Brookshire, 74, of Colorado City, died January 12, 2003 in Midland. She was born December 9, 1928, the daughter of Boss and Lowell Snipes Earl in Bangs. Graveside services were held Wednesday, January 15, 2003 at Oran Cemetery. Reverand Ben Lisby officiated with Baum Carolck Bumgardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald D. Brookshire and wife Bettie of Midland and Roy Vance and wife Pam Brookshire of Midland; a daughter, Patricia Ann Gilly and husband William of Midland; grandchildren, Kenneth Ray Damron, Wayne McAnear, Dana Gail Munoz, and Gary Don Brookshire; 12 great grandchildren, two sisters, one brother and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Brookshire December 29, 2000 and a son, Audie Gene Brookshire November 20, 1969.
