MINERAL WELLS ~ Mr. James Edward "Ed" Cannon, age 41, formerly of Colorado City, died Wednesday at his residence.
Services were held at 2 P.M. Saturday in the Westbrook First Baptist Church with Rev. John Kennedy and Mr. Mike Alexander officiating. Burial followed in the Westbrook Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Cannon was born July 27, 1967 in Loraine to James B. and Janette Rich Cannon.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Janette and Jimmy Moody of Westbrook; his father and step-mother, James and Kitty Moody of Gilmer; two daughters, Brittany and Booke Cannon, both of Westbrook; a granddaughter, Gracelyn Faith Cannon of Westbrook; brothers, Clayton Cannon and Spencer Cannon, both of Colorado City and Heath Cannon of Gilmer, along with their wives and children and Bobby Moody and Alan Moody of Westbrook; two sisters Linda Robinson of Houston and Tabatha Vaughn of Gilmer along with their with their husbands and children; his maternal grandparents, J.T. and Delpha Rich of Colorado City and his paternal grandmother, Marcil Moody of Colorado City and many great aunts, great uncles, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Homer and Ruby Cannon.
