Mrs. Leonard Coldewey, 56, of Loraine, died Saturday at Hendrick Memorial Hospital in Abilene after a short illness.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church in Loraine, with the Rev. Cecil Tune, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Ray Copeland, retired Methodist minister.
Burial will be in Loraine Cemetery under the direction of Kiker and Son Funeral Home of Colorado City.
Mrs. Coldewey was born April 7, 1913 in Carlton and married Leonard Coldewey September 29, 1929 in Tahoka. They moved to Mitchell County in 1942 and to Loraine in 1968.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Joe Ed of Colorado City, Maurice of Midland and Raymond of Abilene; one daughter, Mrs. Bob Reddin of Fort Worth; four brothers, R. B. Nowlin of Comanche, Noble Nowlin of Hot Springs, Arkansas, C. B. Nowlin of Meadow, Texas and Odell Nowlin of Snyder; one sister, Mrs Bartle Renfro of Watsonville, California; 11 grandchildren.
