MRS. JOHN DERING
COLORADO CITY (RNS) ~~ Mrs. John Dering, 66, former Westbrook resident, died
at 7:40 a.m. Friday in the Root Memorial Hospital in Colorado City. Funeral
will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Kiker-Rains-Seale Funeral Chapel.
The Rev. Ray Johnson, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Westbrook, will
officiate. Burial will be in the Westbrook Cemetery.
Born February 10, 1906 in Van Zandt County, she married John Dering January
20, 1926, in Dallas County. Prior to her illness, she had been a resident of
the Roland Nursing Home in Loraine.
Survivors are her husband of Loraine; three daughters, Mrs. Eugene Kelley,
Mrs. Lenard Watkin and Mrs. Lillian Love, all of Colorado City; two sons,
Bill of Colorado and Joe; two sisters, Mrs. Lola Bell Jackson and Mrs.
Eunice Nowell, Both of Colorado City; and 25 grandchildren.
