ALBERT DOSS DIES; C-CITY RITES TODAY
COLORADO CITY (RNS) ~~ Albert Richard Doss, 70, died at his home here
Wednesday at 1 p.m.
Born November 2, 1892, in Callahan County, he married Madge Richards in 1916
here. He had lived here more than 65 years and was a member of the Methodist
Church.
Funeral will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. in Southside Baptist Church with the
Rev. George A. Shoff, pastor, officiating. Burial in Colorado City Cemetery
will be directed by Kiker and Son Funeral Home.
Surviving are the wife; one son, Albert Jr. of Colorado City; three
daughters, Mrs. George Proctor and Mrs. H.S. Connell both of Colorado City
and Mrs. Basil Staggs of Sweetwater; three borthers, Mack, Jack, and Earl
all of Colorado City; four sisters, Mrs. Earl Hays and Mrs. Ben Self both of
Colorado City, Mrs. Dee Ayers of Rotan and Mrs. Maud Coursey of Lawton,
Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. |
