FRANKLIN FUNERAL TODAY AT LORAINE
COLORADO CITY ~~ Funeral for Thomas Franklin Finley, 72, Loraine farmer, was
to be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Lightfoot Church of Christ in Loraine.
He died early Tuesday morning in Loraine.
Officiating was to be E. R. Watson, Merkel minister. Burial was to be in the
Loraine Cemetery under the direction of Kiker and Son Funeral Home of
Colorado City.
He was born October 16, 1882, in Somervell County. He had farmed in the
Loraine community about 34 years.
Survivors include his wife; and five daughters and three sons by a former
marriage. They are Mrs. E. R. Butts and Mrs. F. O. Langohr of San Angelo,
Mrs. J. W. Key of Snyder, Mrs. Ray Richey of Big Spring, Mrs. Bob Collier of
Pensacola, Florida, Lester Finley of Loraine, Estes Finley of Coahoma and H.
O. Finley of Lubbock.
Other survivors are a brother, W. I. Finley of Cleburne; two sisters, one of
whom lives in Fort Worth and Mrs. Cris Roland of Cleburne; and 10
grandchildren.
Son of J. C. and Elizabeth Gaither Finley.
