Obituary For: Gabriela M. Gaona
Gabriela M. Gaona, age 49, of Abilene and formerly of Colorado City, died Sunday morning in an Abilene hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, August, 28, 2013 at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Father Michael Udegbunam officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell County Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Gabby was born April 15, 1964 in Snyder, TX to Vicente and Mary Martinez Gaona and had lived in Abilene for the past 6 years. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and was disabled.
She is survived by her life partner, Terri Lee Gaona of Abilene; her parents, Vicente and Mary Gaona of Colorado City; a daughter, Veronica Aleman of Colorado City; a son, Geoffrey Gaona of Colorado City; 3 brothers: Vicente and wife, Melissa Gaona of Colorado City, Gabriel and wife, Leslie Gaona of Abilene and Greg and wife, Jennifer of Midland; 6 grandchildren, Georgi, Emily, Lili, Jonathon, Geoffrey, Jr., and Connor, numerous nieces and nephews, 2 great-great nephews, and many, many friends.
A rosary will be held at 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
