C-CITY RITES HELD FOR MRS. NORTHCUTT
COLORADO CITY, DEC. 24 (RNS) ~~ Funeral was to be held at 4 p.m. Friday for Mrs. A. R. Northcutt, 63, long time Spade resident, who died at Root Memorial Hospital Thursday.
Rites were to be in Kiker & Son Funeral Chapel here, with the Rev. Bill Hamilton, pastor of Plainview Baptist Church, and the Rev. Bill Austin, pastor of the Oak Street Baptist Church here, officiating. Burial was to be in Colorado City Cemetery.
Mrs. Northcutt was born January 14, 1891, in Palo Pinto County and came to Mitchell County in 1906. She was married January 10, 1910 to Mr. Northcutt in the Spade Community.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. B. O. Brown of Vincent; four sons, Jesse C. of Colorado City, C. W. of Wink, Luke of Monahans and Elmo D. of Fort Scott, California in the army.
Pallbearers were to be Ross Hargrove, J. E. Northcutt, Harvey Humphreys, Hubert Northcutt, G. A. Loveless and Horace Rankin.
