COLORADO CITY ~~ Winnie Quinney, 79, of Colorado City died at 11:25 a.m.
Saturday at the Root Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Services will
be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Bob Ford, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Colorado
City Cemetery, directed by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Born August 20, 1898, Winnie Vaughn in Colorado City, she lived there all
her life. On June 7, 1922, she married Floyd Quinney in Colorado City. He
died August 25, 1932. She was a retired teacher having taught for 32 years.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. A.L. (Nina) Crout of Colorado City; a
grandson, Donald Lee Crout of Colorado City; and two great-grandchildren. |
