Obituary For: Mrs. Aurora "Dora" Salazar
Mrs. Aurora "Dora" Salazar, age 71, died Monday in a San Antonio hospital. Services will be at 10 AM Friday, July 19, 2013, at St. Ann's Catholic with Father Michael Udegbunam officiating. Burial will follow in the Colorado City Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Salazar was born August 27, 1941 in San Antonio to Nick and Virginia Sabebra Marquez. She married Federico Salazar on October 5, 1962 in San Antonio. He preceded her in death on October 17, 2009. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Mary, and husband, Samuel Rudolpho, Yolanda and husband, Edward Torres and Ester Cantu, all of San Antonio; 7 sons: David and wife, Cindy Salazar, Frank Salazar and Ricky Salazar, all of Colorado City; Frederica and wife, Cynthia Salazar,Gabriel Salazar and Jimmy Casias all of San Antonio, Lupe Lopez of Sonora; 6 sisters: Mary Helen Laredo, Mary Trevinio, Lupe Guererro, Rosa Gurerro, Yolanda Marquez and Lucy Marquez; 5 brothers: Osebio Marquez, Nick Marquez, Pete Marquez, Ricky Marquez and Pife Marquez; 25 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.
A rosary will be held at 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
