COLORADO CITY ~~ A.B. Stewart, 84, retired Colorado City farmer, died at 1 p.m. Friday in Root Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the First United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Davis Edens, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Stewart was born October 2, 1890 in Alabama but had lived in Mitchell County since 1931. He married Clorene Montgomery April 21, 1946 in Seymour. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert of Hereford and J. W. of Odessa; five sisters, Mrs. Walter Wentworth of Cranfils Gap, Mrs. Frank Thomas of Hamilton, Mrs. Dick Bishop of Clarett, Mrs. Early Shepherd of Hico and Mrs. Cecil Gibson of Fort Worth; one brother, Noel of Killeen; one grandchild and three great grandchildren.
