92 YEAR OLD TAYLOR NATIVE DIES IN C-CITY
COLORADO CITY (RNS)~~ Mrs. Annie Cosper Warren, 92, died at 3:15 p.m. Monday
at the Root Valley Fair Lodge after a lengthy illness.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Kiker and Son Chapel with the
Rev. Darris Egger, Pastor of First Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Colorado City Cemetery under direction of Kiker and Son
Funeral Home.
She was born in Taylor County December 18, 1871 and married Will E. Warren
in Robert Lee in 1893. He died in 1911. The couple came to Mitchell County
in 1901.
Survivors include one son, Roy E. Warren of Colorado City; two daughters,
Mrs. Les Perry of Colorado City, and Mrs. Carl Smith of Sulphur Bluff,
Texas; three brothers, H. H. Cosper of San Angelo, C. M. Cosper of Hartley,
and J. H. of Colorado City; one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Cosper of Kerrville;
three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. |
