Delia G. Zermeño

Mrs. Delia G. Zermeño, age 63, of Colorado City, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 in an Abilene hospital. Services will be at 1 PM Saturday, March 31, 2012, at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Father Michael Udegnunam officiating. Burial will follow in the Colorado City Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Zermeño was born December 4, 1948 in Villa Guerrero Jalisco, Mexico to Ezequiel and Albina Perez Gonzalez. She married Hermenegildo C. Zermeño on August 19, 1977 in Colorado City and had been a resident of Colorado City since 1957. She was the former manager of the Colorado Middle School Cafeteria and a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Hermenegildo "Ernesto" Zermeño of Colorado City; a daughter, Maria Guadalupe "Lupita" Zermeño of Cedar Hill, TX; 5 brothers: Joe R Gonzalez of Colorado City, Antonio and wife, Araceli Gonzalez of Sweetwater, Daniel and wife, Chris Gonzalez of Arlington, Pablo Gonzalez of Big Spring and Hilario and wife, Lola Gonzalez of Guthrie, TX; 7 sisters: Theresa and husband, Kevin Rogers of Fayetteville, NC, Maria Auxilio Beltran and Mary Grace and husband, Rosalio Lopez all of Colorado City, Emilia and husband, Francisco Acevedo of Benjamin, TX, Dolores Garza of Sweetwater, Angie and husband, Levie Roland of Cedar Hill, TX and Rosa and husband Santos Zermeño of Big Spring, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ezequiel Gonzalez.
Rosary will be held at 7 PM Friday, March 30, 2012 at the funeral home.
