Selena Quintanilla Perez, "Queen of Tejano Music"



Selena Quintanilla Perez, the "Queen of Tejano Music" died at the height of her career, at the age of 23. During a confrontation about finances, her fan club president Yolanda Saldivar shot and killed the music sensation. Selena is buried in Corpus Christi, Texas. Pay tribute to her at both her memorials and her grave.

Plan a trip to Corpus Christi, Texas. Find Selena's grave at Seaside Memorial Park located at 5347 Ocean Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas, 78841.

Be respectful at Selena's grave. Try not to draw attention to yourself. The cemetery reserves the right to refuse cemetery entrance to anyone who does not own a plot.

Follow cemetery flower regulations. Bring flowers to Selena's grave but bear in mind that they need to fit in the approved cemetery flower receptacles. The cemetery removes flowers and plants if they do not meet regulations. Do not bring toys, frames, signs, vases, pictures or glass objects to place on her grave.
