Ball at Tascosa
Special to the NewsTascosa, Tex., Nov 29 - The big L S Thanksgiving ball passed off very pleasantly. C H Withington, manager of L S Ranch, promised his boys a ball provided his cattle took a prize at the Kansas City stock show. He received first and second prizes. The visiting people spoke in glowing terms of the manner in which the L S boys entertained them, and the supper was one long to be remembered. Especial mention is due Assistant Manager Charley Gores. [Thanksgiving was on the 27th that year.]
