On June 2, 1934, my cousin Mary Edna Nations and her husband, Riley Smith were murdered, then burned in their ranch house near Marfa. Know they're buried in one of the Marfa Cemeteries. Need date of burial and name of cemetery, for Riley Smith (ca 1874-1934) and his wife, Mary Edna Nations (1880-1934). Any help appreciated.

I am looking for any information on the family of Albert JOHNS who lived in Presidio County sometime prior to 1915. He married Salome Bustillos and they had two daughters Sophia and Conchita. The Presidio County census of 1900 show that Salome's brother Jesu s Bustillos and sister Lejandra Bustillos, ages 12 and 16 at the time, were living with Albert and Salome. Albert died Jan 25, 1919 in San Antonio and is buried somewhere in Presidio County. Salome Johns was known to have been living in Presidio County as late as 1926.

Gabriel Madrid Bejarano born 1 December 1909 in Marfa,Texas married Maria Valdez in California. Gabriel died 19 April 1959 in Riverside, California. His parents were Ynez Bejarano born in Mexico and Reyes Madrid born in Mexico. My best guess (we never had contact with his family) is that Reyes and Madrid lived in Marfa. HELP!

Jane Ann (Jenny) BOYD b. 1894 was living in Amarillo in 1922 when mother, Milly Jane, died. Her name on death certificate as informant is Jenny FREEMAN. Also may have been married to a WALDRIP ? I'm looking for any information on my ancestors who lived in the Fort Davis area about 1880- 1900. My gggrandparents were named Morgan Price and Nancy ROBERTS, who were from Illinois. They raised Angoras on a ranch there, where my great uncle, Henry DICKSON, worked as a ranch hand. The ROBERTS family had at least three children: Sam (who was busted for stealing cattle), Frank, and my gggrandfather, George Washington ROBERTS. About 1888, Geo. Wash. married Frances Adelina STOUTSENBERGER (nee BOWLES), and they had nine children. Sam married Emma BRAGG in Presidio Co. in 1881. In about 1895 my ggrandparents moved to the Guadalupe Mountains.
