Where We Are
Presidio County is located in far west Texas, on the Rio Grande, west of the Big Bend country. The county seat is Marfa,
in the northeastern corner. We're bordered by Mexico in the south and west. Because of the diamond-ish shapes of the
counties, we have other close neighbors to the north and west, which are
Hudspeth,
Culberson and
Jeff Davis counties. In the east, we're bordered by
Brewster County. Even though we don't share county lines with
Culberson County or Hudspeth County, our western tip is less than five miles from them.
