Where We Are

Location, Reeves County, TXGenWeb Reeves County is in the far west region of Texas, between Mexico and New Mexico and the county seat is Pecos. Because of the county's odd shape, Pecos is located almost halfway between the northernmost and southernmost points as well as the easternmost and westernmost points but it's also on the county line. Draw an X across the map of the county and Pecos is in the left corner of the right-hand triangle.

Our neighboring counties, start with Eddy County, New Mexico, in the north and then, clockwise, Loving County and Ward County in the northeast, Pecos County is southeast, Jeff Davis County in the southwest and Culberson County is west of us.
