Henry Harris Smith moved to Spring Creek, Texas, 16 to 18 miles north of San Saba on the Colorado River in the year 1875 and became the leading photographer in San Saba for a time. His great grandson, Stanley Sawyer, has found 25 pictures of friends and family with the names (or some type of identification) attached and 132 more that do not have names. He has scanned these for posting in hopes some family members will see them. |
