SNYDER DAILY NEWS http://www.snyderdailynews.com/Stories/index.htm J.C. Bradshaw 1928-2000 HOBBS, N.M. - J.C. Bradshaw, a former Snyder resident, died Saturday, July 15, in Hobbs. Funeral service for Mr. Bradshaw, 71, is set for 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Jake Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Haven Cemetery under the direction of the Chapel of Hope Funeral Home. Born Nov. 23, 1928 in New Boston, he worked for National Tank Company (NATCO) in Lubbock and Snyder before moving to Hobbs in 1960. In Hobbs he was co-founder of Hobbs Tank & Treater Service, retiring in 1994. Mr. Bradshaw was preceded in death by two sisters, Nadine Waters and Dessie Taylor. Survivors include his wife, Freddie Franks Bradshaw of Hobbs; two daughters, Paula Shipp and Susan Cheaney, both of Midland; four brothers, W.D. Bradshaw of Lockesburg, Ark., E.H. Bradshaw of Eagletown, Okla., C.M. Bradshaw of Gladewater and Archie Bradshaw of Arlington; four sisters, Clara Shaw of Horatio, Ark., Bonnie McGhee of Pottsboro, Yvonne Lenhard of Orange and Lorene Adams of Paris; and four grandchildren.
