Drue Dunn 

1906-2000 

KERRVILLE � Drue Alonzo Dunn, a native of Scurry County, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, at his home in Kerrville. 

Graveside service for Mr. Dunn, 94, is set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Garden of Memories with the Rev. Ricky Burk officiating. 

Born Feb. 9, 1906 in Dunn, he moved to Midland in 1928. He married Mary Magdalene �Peggy� Alverson on Dec. 14, 1931 in Carlsbad. She died in 1988. He married Doris Ferguson on July 9, 1989 in Kerrville. 

Mr. Dunn served in the U.S. Army from 1942-46. After military service, he returned to Midland and worked as a certified public accountant until moving to Kerrville in 1965. 

He was a member of St. Paul�s United Methodist Church and past president of the Kerrville Host Lions Club. 

Survivors include his wife, Doris Dunn of Kerrville; and a brother, Ollie Dunn of Lubbock.
