Gracie Fowler 

1915-2000 

Gracie Louise Fowler, a longtime Snyder resident, died at 9:03 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, in Cogdell Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness. 

Services for Mrs. Fowler, 84, are pending at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. 

Born Dec. 28, 1915 in Cheek, Okla., she was married to Henry Edmond Fowler on Oct. 14, 1933 in Muleshoe. He died Feb. 26, 1991. 

Mrs. Fowler was a homemaker and a member of the Faith Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers. 

Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Louise Westbrook of Snyder and Henrietta Henson of Meadow; two sons, Joe Fowler of Snyder and the Rev. Eldon Fowler of Dover, Del.; one sister, Martha Roberts of Monahans; two brothers, Odis McNeme of Odessa and D.W. McNeme of Monahans; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
