Roma Lenderman 

1943-2000 

LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Roma Lenderman, a former Snyder resident, died at 3 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, in Las Cruces after a lengthy illness. She was 56. 

No services are scheduled and cremation is planned under the direction of Graham Mortuary & Mesilla Valley Crematory. 

Born Nov. 28, 1943 in Ira, she attended school in Ira and married Kenneth Lenderman in 1959 in Socorro, N.M. He died May 2, 1996. 

Survivors include three sons, C.W. Lenderman and his wife, Romona, Terry Lenderman and Bruce Lenderman, all of Las Cruces; a sister, Mary Ellen Clay of Snyder; two brothers, Johnny Hazlewood of Snyder and Dean Hazlewood of Tyler; her mother, Newell Hazelwood of Snyder; and five granddaughters. 

She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Ben and Ray Hazlewood; a sister, Patsy Hazlewood; and her father, Wesley Hazlewood.
