Valerianna Lopez

1941-2000 

Valerianna Lopez, 59, died Thursday, Aug. 3, at her home following a lengthy illness. 

Rosary for Mrs. Lopez, a homemaker, is set for 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the
 Wright Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. 

Mass for Mrs. Lopez is set for 2 p.m. Sunday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church
 with the Rev. Leo Moras, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the 
Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Wright Colonial Funeral Home. 

Born April 14, 1941 in New Braunfels, she married Faustino Lopez on Aug. 31, 1953 in Snyder. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and one daughter. 

Survivors include her husband, Faustino Lopez of Snyder; 
three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jose and Gloria Lopez, Miguel and
 Anita Lopez and Alex Lopez, all of Snyder; six daughters and
 five sons-in-law, Lucia and Jeff Delapaz of Sweetwater, Rosa and Juan Hernandez,
 Virginia and Adan Flores, and Yolanda Lowry, all of Snyder, and Andrea and Russ Henzler
 of Matador; three brothers, George Gutierrez and Leon Gutierrez, both of Snyder,
 and Daniel Gutierrez of San Angelo; four sisters, Matilda Guzman, Lucia Garcia, 
Janie Alverado and Lillie Hernandez, all of Snyder; 23 grandchildren; and 
11 great-grandchildren
