Josie Martinez 

1953-2000 

pt. 22, in Covenant Hospital in Plainview. 

Funeral service for Mrs. Martinez, 47, was set for 10 a.m. today in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Elbert A. Fadallan, pastor, officiating. Burial was to follow in the Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. 

Born Aug. 31, 1953 in Snyder, she had attended Plainview schools and was a Catholic. 

Survivors include three daughters, Ramona Lopez, Crystal Martinez and Christina Martinez, all of Plainview; a son, Franky Martinez of Plainview; four brothers, Ray Martinez of Hereford, Danny Martinez of Olton, Johnny Martinez and Jesse Martinez, both of Plainview; three sisters, Janie Larsen and Lupe Arroyo, both of Plainview, and Patsy Hernandez of Midland; and four grandchildren.
