Mary M Wade
was born to Bessie Lou Wade in 1912. Bessie is from Wilson county
originally and is the daughter of James and Emma Wade. Bessie was
born in 1896.
James Wade passed away before
the 1900 census and Emma Wade remarried, to Joseph Sylvester
Newman, from Somervell county.
They married there and I have
their marriage license. They married in 1915 and then moved back
to Floresville in Wilson Co, where Emma had a home. They lived
there several years and then moved to Stockdale, very close to
Floresville.
I know that Joseph S Newman's
family still lives in Somervel county and I am trying to find some
of them, that might have a pic of Emma and/or Bessie Wade, since
Emma and Joseph were married for about 20 yrs.
I just have never seen a picture of Bessie or Emma and I just want
to see what they look like. I know somebody out there has a
picture.......somewhere.
