William Franklin "Bill" Blair Jr.

Sterling City William Franklin "Bill" Blair Jr. passed away on Saturday, June 14, 1997, at the age of 84.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday June 17, at the First Baptist church with the Rev. David Burke and the Rev. Earl Blair officiating. Burial will follow in Foster Cemetery. arrangements are by Ross Funeral Home.

He was born to William Franklin Blair Sr. and Samantha Blair on March 21, 1913 in Nolan Co. Texas. On Oct 19, 1933 he married Helen Lois Wilhelm in Nolan County. He was a resident of Sterling County for 56 years. Ranching was his life.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Helen glair; two sons, Bob Blair and wife, Carol, of San Angelo and Billy Blair and Wife, Nettie, of Water Valley; two brothers John Blair of Sterling city and Curtis Blair of Robert Lee; two sisters, Verna Bell Robertson of Odessa and Samantha Robertson of
Robert Lee; one granddaughter, Laurie Colvert and he husband, Shawn; four grandson, Ross Blair and wife, Karleen, of Pleasanton, Thomas Blair and wife Helen, of Weatherford, Okla., Todd Blair and wife, Casey and Tim Blair and wife, Pam, all of San Angelo; four great-grandsons, Shelby Colver, Cody Blair, Erric Blair and Travis Blair; three great-granddaughters, Meghan Blair, Shanna Blair and Brandee Blair; two stepgrandsons, Gary Prather and Tracy Prather; three step-granddaughters, Amanda Bishop, Brooke Stuardt and Nicole Prather; two step-great-grandsons Brandon Prather and Patrick Prather; and also a sister-in-aw Allene Wilhelm, and a brother-in-law Wallace Wilhelm.

Pallbearers will be Ross Blair, Todd Blair, Thomas Blair, Cody Blair, Orvill Kensey, Bobby McClure, Winn McClure, Troy Millican, Mike Lamb and Louis Latimer.
