Roy L. Jackson of Angelo Dead

Funeral Services Today for Hardware Man

Roy L. Jackson, 36, manager of the paint department at the B & H Hardware Co. died at 6:30 o'clock last night in a local hospital. He had been ill for about nine days.

Funeral rites will be held from Johnson's Chapel at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon with the Rev. A. C. Knight officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Mt. Jackson was a member of the Church of Christ here. He had been employed at his last position since November, having worked for the previous 12 years at the Miller Paint Co. He came here from Brownwood.

Survivors are the widow; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Sawyers of New York state and Mrs. Clarence Harvy, Santa Anna; and a grandmother, Mrs. Della Bailey, Santa Anna.

Pallbearers are Charles Rose, Joe Howard, Dick Swindell, John E. Robbins, Jr., Alva Oliver and Lois McMurtrey. Honorary pallbearers are P. B. Wilson, Will Kemp, Ransom Reynolds, George Young, John Russell, and Percy Head.
