Donald Sam Allen was born November 13, 1926, to Robert Newton Allen and Anna Elizabeth Lee Allen, at the ranch hom in northern Terrell County.

Billie Louise Smith was born April 7, 1926, in Colorado City, Texas. Her parents were Thomas Thurston Smith and Stacy Vivian Curry Smith.

Don and Billie were married December 9, 1945, in Colorado City, Texas. Their daughter, Vicki Lynn Allen, was born October 24, 1947, in San Angelo, Texas. Their son Donald Steven Allen was born October 16, 1949, in Colorado City, Texas. Their son Thomas Ray Allen was born December 26, 1951, in Sanderson, Texas. Their son Gary Joe Allen was born August 5, 1961, in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Vicki Lynn Allen married Timothy Lewis Deveny on August 30, 1969.

Thomas Ray Allen (Tom) married Judy Kay Yaw on August 10, 1974.
