Anne Zepeda Flores
From the June 2, 2006 issue of the Terrell County News-Leader, page 2:Funeral services were yesterday, June 1, 2006, at El Buen Pastor United Methodist Church here for Anne Zepeda Flores, 92, a longtime Sanderson resident who died May 29, 2006, in Dallas.
Pastor Daniel Garcia presided. Burial was at Santa Rita Cemetery.
She was born in Sanderson on April 18, 1914, to Juan Zepeda and Juanita Hernandez. She married Gustavo Flores, Sr., in Sanderson in 1933, and was a housewife and devout Methodist.
Gustavo preceded her in death, along with her parents; five brothers, Santiago, Roman, Pedro, Juan and David Zepeda, and five sisters, Hortencia Arredondo, Nacha Garcia, Antonia Long, Clara Escamilla and Josefina Marquez.
She is survived by a son, Gustavo Z. and Carolina Flores, Jr., of Fort Stockton; a daughter, Enriqueta and Genaro Valdez of Dallas; a brother, Samuel Zepeda of San Antonio; a sister, Aurelia Garcia of El Paso, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Arrangements were by Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.
