I am looking for more information about Martha or Mattie EDMISTON (maybe
spelled EDMONDSON). She was born May 1864 in Memphis, Tennessee. She
was married July 1888 in Tate County, Mississippi to James Odis WALLACE.
Matha died in 1907 in Titus County, Texas. I have not been able to
locate a death certificate for her. Martha had two brothers named Sam
and Will that lived and died in Memphis, Tennessee. I have looked on
many census records and cannot locate her with her parents.

I am looking for confirmation that Richard BLACKSTONE who was born in
1791 in South Carolina was the father of Hannah Longstreet BLACKSTONE who
was born in November 1833 near Atlanta, Georgia. I would also like to
know who is Hannah's mother. I think her mother died after 1844/1850
probably in Gordon County, Georgia. Hannah was married on December 18,
1851 in Texas, probably Titus County to Isaac Roger RIDDLE. Hannah died
28 Jul 1896 in Mt. Pleasant, Titus, Texas.

b. SC; A.C. KING (m) age 17, b. TN; and A.H. KING (f) age 15, b. TN. I
believe J. KING is John, and that M.E. may be the Elizabeth M. KING who
married T.G. NESBITT in Harrison County on 16 Feb 1855; and A.H. is the
Harriett A. KING who married George K. FISHER in Harrison County on 2 Jan
1855; and that A.C. KING is Calvin KING who married Cora LIPSCOMB in
Harrison County on 16 Jan. 1855. Would really appreciate information on

Franklin County. Census information indicated George K. FISHER remained

I live way over here in Alabama and therefore I do not have access to the
Titus County records. In growing up my grandmother would make reference
to a terrible thing that happened there. This happening would have been
in the mid to late 1880's. The details of this are sketchy, but it had
to do something with the whole family being buried in a single grave and
they were probably murdered. My grandmother's aunt was married to a King
who left Alabama and settled there, maybe in the 1870's. Any help in
uncovering this mystery would be greatly appreciated.
